Essential Oils

Recently I have begun the journey of using Essential Oils to replace many things in my daily routine.  I use them as a replacement for most things in my medicine cabinet, for DIY projects, and for home cleaning and freshening.  This change started when it was brought to my attention just how much stuff we use that is toxic and horrible for our lifestyles.  Once I made this realization, it became very simple to search for alternatives.

My first encounter with Essential Oils was from a dear friend of mine.  We were actually at Disneyland for my bachelorette party. My friend was an avid user of essential oils already and we sat down on Main Street, for an afternoon breather.  We were all exhausted and running out of steam from a busy day riding everything, finding every character, and making the most of any and every photo opportunity.  She simply pulled out a small pouch, which contained several small bottles, and found the one she wanted.  She opened it, took a deep breath of it, then put a dab on her finger and rubbed it behind her ears; then once again, inhaled the residue from her fingertips.  We all looked at her questioning her sanity for a second.  She then began to explain.  She had pulled out Joy essential oil.  It was revitalizing and refreshing, would give her energy and liven her spirit to continue through the day.  Of course, we all had to have it then.  Couldn't hurt right.  It was a glorious scent and could have been Mickey talking, but it seemed to help.

Discover just a few of the possibilities with Essential Oils.
